Sharing economy for the 7th edition
curated by Cristiano Seganfreddo
Launched seven years ago, i7-independent spaces is an ArtVerona project, curated by Cristiano Seganfreddo, which focuses on giving space and visibility to non-profit organisations, associations, foundations and groups involved in independent activities of contemporary research and experimentation, which often catalyse new trends.
16 organisations in a single area in pavilion 12, with the projects considered to be of greatest interest in response to themes such as the transformation of economies, the change of professions, the birth of new forms of relationship and aggregation, and more.
This year’s theme is the sharing economy, a phenomenon which is changing numerous industries and sectors, generating value. Art too is being touched by this beneficial wave which will review the roles and dynamics of construction of the primary sense and meaning of art.
For the third year running, the organisations with the projects that best respond to the theme will be awarded:
– 2,000 euros, assigned by Amia Verona S.p.A., an environmental hygiene multiservice company which has always been particularly sensitive to policies linked to eco-sustainability;
– an analysis, in the FOCUS column of the November issue of Artribune, media partner of the section
