Within the paces of h+, the coworking circuit in Milan, was presented ArtVerona | Art Project Fair at the helm of which, starting from the next edition, there is Adriana Polveroni.
From the moderator to the space to the guests, everything spoke the language of contemporary art.
This Fair is defining its peculiar identity ever more clearly; a “mechanism of cultural production” as Cristiano Seganfreddo describes it.
ArtVerona 2017 is a growing fair consisting of 130 participating galleries, four exhibition sections –Main Section, Raw Zone, Scouting, i8 – independent spaces – and cultural research projects. Strong of its new art director Adriana Polveroni, ArtVerona continues on its course for giving substance to the art collection-enterprise binomial.
Hence the establishment of the Consorzio Collezionisti delle Pianure (‘Collectors from the Plains’ Consortium), a group of 30 select collectors, all with different points of view and sets of eyes but all unanimously focused on the world of art.
The Consortium is the evolutionary child of a project centered on the figure of the collector that the event has elected as pivot of its activities and programs, making it the active star player of the Italian art system: a precious and original tool for supporting ArtVerona in enhancing corporate investments in culture.
The collectors of the Consortium, the name of which is inspired by the book “Narratori delle pianure” by Gianni Celati (1985), come from a territory, the Po Valley, that has the vocation of being highly entrepreneurial in many sectors of Italy’s economy. read more…
