A space for debate with collectors, with an eye on Italian art, that acts as a venue for updating and furthering the research and the valorization of contemporary art experiences.
Collecting at the center
From an idea by Adriana Polveroni, an exhibition project by young artists who are not promoted by any gallery, but presented by artists of the previous generation in a close dialogue with each other, beyond the contribution of curatorial figures. Tutor and mentor for 2018 Adrian Paci.
A format created and curated by Antonio Grulli. It involves ten young independent art critics recounting the collection method of ten collectors, with special attention paid to the Italian market. This is an attempt to bring back to center stage not only the collector, but also the art critic.
Io, l’opera e tu (I, the Artwork and You)
This format offers the public the opportunity to meet up with the artists in their respective galleries booths. The starting point is a specific work of art, capable of “speaking to the public” also through the words of the artist and of the curator.
Primo Amore (First love)
A platform that aims at directing the public towards high-quality artworks with affordable price tags, i.e. within 5,000 euros, to kindle the interest of new collectors. An incentive for young collectors with limited financial resources, guided towards works capable of igniting that spark of “first love”. In a word: low cost but original and precious works.
ArtVerona launches K1, an overview of the Fair’s most significant and ‘higher’ works. Galleries are invited to present a selection of extraordinary works – with sometimes out-ofthe- ordinary values – with the aim of offering visitors, collectors and aficionados the chance of discovering unique works that are not visible in other national or international contexts.
Section dedicated to the first approach to contemporary art by younger children (aged 4 to 12) in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts of Verona.
