The 15th edition of ArtVerona will be held from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 October 2019
The Fair presents the new communication campaign, under the creative management of “Agenzia del Contemporaneo”. The picture, created by the young Italian photographer Pietro Cocco, depicts the fusion of ArtVerona’s two souls – the modern and the contemporary, including their newer and research-related expressions..
Under the artistic management of Adriana Polveroni, ArtVerona will select 140 galleries for its 15th edition, that will be held in Verona from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 October 2019. This choice is aimed at further enhancing the quality of the proposal and the listening ability of the exhibitors via the Main Section, presenting modern and contemporary art, and a large area dedicated to the younger artists’ research and to experimentation, with special formats and initiatives.
The proposal of the Fair is also represented by the new communication campaign, under the creative management of “Agenzia del Contemporaneo”. The picture, created by the young Italian photographer Pietro Cocco, depicts the fusion of ArtVerona’s two souls – the modern and the contemporary, including their newer and research-related expressions. ArtVerona is a fair that thrives on exchange and potential, that evolves and progresses over time. This fusion is the basis for a concrete project that has been consolidating more and more year after year, growing side by side with Italian collectors.
ArtVerona in fact has been enriched with new projects that combine the Road Show with the discovery of Italian collections. An initiative has been launched starting from North-Eastern Italy, aimed at training new collectors: on 30 march starts ‘Collecting’, ArtVerona’s course on art collecting that will stop in Bassano del Grappa, Rovereto, Molvena and Vicenza, and will avail itself of the contribution of instructors and experts, in partnership with museums and private collections.
ArtVerona is getting ready for its 15th anniversary not only with a new visual identity but also with the new ‘Re Teodorico’ entrance that will welcome the visitors to the Fair, resulting from the significant makeover of the Veronafiere structures.
In an edition that is preparing to further enhance its quality level, there will also be new recognitions, such as the MZ Costruzioni Award, stemming from the idea of two entrepreneurs and collectors from the Campania region, and the Casarini DueTorriHotels Award offered by the DueTorriHotels Group and destined for young (under 35) painters. All of the other awards are confirmed: Level 0, Icona, WiDiCollect Award, in association with Banca Widiba, Under 35 Photography Award, Display, Sustainable Art Prize promoted by the ‘Ca’ Foscari’ university of Venice, the second edition of ‘A Disposizione’, the Art fund of Veronafiere, and the Private Purchase Group, in addition to the recognition for i10 – Independent Spaces, on the occasion of the project’s ten-year anniversary.
The Fair’s Advisory Board has also evolved with the acquisition of the collector Antonio Coppola and of the creative director, and founder of Marsélleria, Mirko Rizzi.
